City of Fulton Softball League results for Thursday, June 12, 2008
6:00 F (W-D) Lakeview Lanes & Us battled past A&M Softball, 13-9. A&M Softball took the lead in the first inning and regained it in the fourth before Lakeview Lanes & Us rallied for a one run lead in the bottom of the fourth and added three insurance runs in the sixth. Alisha Dorn tripled, doubled, singled twice, scored twice and amassed five RBIs for Lakeview Lanes & Us, Jessica Humphrey lined four singles, scored once and drove in two runs as Amanda Stevens doubled, singled in a run and scored three times. Billie Jo Steere rapped four hits to drive in four runs and scored once for A&M Softball, Danica Malone doubled, singled twice, scored twice and knocked in a run as Heather Moody and Teresa Garrison each singled twice, scored once and drove home a run.
7:00 F (W-D) Lakeview Lanes & Us batted around A&M Softball, 17-2. A run in each of the first two innings kept the game close for A&M Softball until Lakeview Lanes & Us rallied for five runs in the third and six in the fourth to put the game away. Charlie Terrimiggi led Lakeview Lanes & Us with three doubles, a single, two runs scored and five RBIs, Tina Thibodeau smacked three hits, scored three times and drove in two runs as Alicia Dorn tripled, singled twice, scored a run and delivered four RBIs. Teresa Garrison rapped two singles and drove in a run for A&M Softball, Heather Moody singled home a run as Amanda Cammuso singled and scored.
6:00 D (M-D) Lehigh Cement used a Dave Wheeler walk-off home run to get past Pittsburg Paint/Purcell’s Paints, 11-9. Lehigh Cement held the lead until Pittsburg Paint/Purcell’s Paints scored four runs in the seventh to tie the game before Dave Wheeler’s dramatic two-run home run. Dave Wheeler belted a home run, two triples, a double, scored four runs and amassed four RBIs for Lehigh Cement, Sean Canales reached base three times, scored once and knocked in a run as Jeremy Wheeler singled twice and scored twice. Nick Hargraves homered,, doubled, singled, scored twice and drove in three RBIs for Pittsburg Paint/Purcell’s Paints, Jo LaBeef stroked four hits, scored once and knocked home two runs as Don Crowe tripled home a run and scored twice.
7:00 D (M-D) Gorman’s tore off Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators, 18-6. Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators took the lead in the third before Gorman’s tied the game in the bottom of the third and erupted for ten runs in the fourth. Shawn Perry clubbed two home runs, tripled, singled, scored three runs and amassed five RBIs for Gorman’s, Louis French lined a inside-the-park home run, doubled twice, scored three runs and drove in three runs as Harlan French smacked a two-run homer, doubled and scored twice. Harry Bickford socked a three-run home run to garnish four RBIs for Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators, Pete Galletta ripped a RBI triple, singled and scored twice while Carl Clothier reached base twice and scored twice.
8:00 D (M-D) R-BAR rallied from a eight-run deficit to climb over Butler Fence, 13-10. After four innings, Butler Fence appeared to be cruising to victory until nine runs in the fifth turned the tide for R-BAR. Chad Humphrey stroked four singles, scored twice and drove in a run for R-BAR, Gary Scerbo singled three times, scored twice and delivered two runs as Doug Fischel doubled in three RBIs, singled twice and scored once. Toby McCleary reached base in all four at bats and scored once for Butler Fence, Don Grabowski doubled a run home, walked and scored twice as Brian Lass doubled, singled and drove in two runs.
9:00 D (M-D) AIDS Community Resources served McDonald’s a 20-8 score. Seven runs in the firs and six more in the second allowed AIDS Community Resources to cruise to victory. Shayne Bogardus tripled twice, doubled, singled, scored three runs and drove in three runs for AIDS Community Resources, Mike Gugula tripled, doubled, singled, walked, scored four runs and knocked in two RBIs as Josh Viscome doubled twice, singled, scored twice and amassed four RBIs. Sean Bracy drilled a solo home run, singled twice and scored twice for McDonald’s, Jim D’Imperio tripled home three runs and scored once while Tony Polzon singled twice, scored once and drove home a run.
