City of Fulton Softball League results for Tuesday, June 24th

6:00 F (M-F) Riverside Inn/Haney Enterprises trimmed Polish Home, 13-12. Polish Home jumped out to the lead in the first inning with Riverside Inn/Haney Enterprises tying the game in the fourth and taking the lead until Polish Home knotted the score in the sixth before Riverside Inn/Haney Enterprises scored four runs in the seventh and held Polish Home to three for the victory. Mark Lamb laced three triples, singled, scored four times and drove in three RBIs for Riverside Inn/Haney Enterprises, Jim Mieczkowski tripled, singled three times, scored twice and knocked in three runs while Jim Wardhaugh singled twice and delivered three RBIs. Travis Brandt tripled, singled twice, scored twice and knocked in two runs for Polish Home, Fred Aldrich singled twice, walked, scored twice and drove in two RBIs as Doug Stevens doubled twice, scored twice and drove home a run.

7:00 F (M-F) Bellinger Auto sped away from Lakeview Lanes, 14-5. Bellinger Auto scored seven runs within the first two innings and added runs in all but one inning there after while Lakeview Lanes rallied for three runs in the fifth. Jared Bellinger tripled, doubled twice, singled, scored once and delivered three RBIs for Bellinger Auto, Geo Bateman doubled, singled twice, scored three runs and drove in two RBIs while Greg Distin belted a inside-the-park home run, singled, reached once on error, scored twice and knocked in three runs. For Lakeview Lanes, Ernie Peters doubled, scored a run and drove in two runs as John McGuire singled twice, walked and scored.

6:00 D (M-F) Flemming & Lobevero Insurance cancelled Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises, 16-5. Flemming & Lobevero Insurance tallied twelve runs within the first three innings to take control of the game. Aaron Conn tripled, doubled twice, singled twice, scored four runs and drove home three RBIs for Flemming & Lobevero Insurance, Dean Flemming reached base four times, scored twice and knocked in four runs as Chris Kelsey tripled twice, doubled, walked, scored four runs and drove in a run. Derek Backus reached base three times, scored once and drove in a run for Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises, Tim Woods doubled, singled and scored once as Charles Vickery singled and delivered two RBIs.

7:00 D (M-E) Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken roasted RFH’s Farm Team, 18-1. Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken scored at least two runs in every innings while holding RFH’s Farm Team to a run in their final at bat. Cliff Mills blasted a grand slam, singled three times and scored three times for Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken, Bill Ruggio lined a inside-the-park home run, singled twice and scored three runs and drove home three RBIs while John Urban Sr. homered, doubled, walked, scored three runs and knocked in three RBIs. Don Cordone singled, walked and scored for RFH’s Farm Team, Dave Runeare reached base twice and drove in the run as Larry King singled and walked.

8:00 D (M-E) RFH’s Blues Boys flooded Tavern on the Lock, 10-4. Nine runs within the first three innings gave RFH’s Blues Boys enough runs to breeze through the game. Jimmy Files homered, singled twice and scored twice for RFH’s Blues Boys, Tim Tetro singled three times, scored twice and drove in a run as Bob Hughson stroked three singles, scored once and knocked in a run. Gregg Krieger and Tim Southworth each singled twice and drove in a run for Tavern on the Lock as Jerry Devendorf singled twice and scored a run.

9:00 D (M-E) Muskie’s Brothers plugged Caster Well Drilling, 11-4. Seven runs in the third inning for Muskie’s Brothers proved to take the difference in the game. Daryl Baker belted a home run, doubled twice, walked, scored three times and drove in two runs for Muskie’s Brothers, Tom Corsoniti lined two doubles, scored two runs and knocked in two runs as Colin Blake reached base three times, scored twice and drove home a run. Lewis Caster doubled, singled and drove in a run for Caster Well Drilling, Erik Caster singled twice and scored once as Alan Caster singled, walked and scored twice.
