City of Fulton Softball League Results for Wednesday, June 25

6:00 F (W-B) Red Baron held off Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, 11-8.  Jackson Hewitt Tax Service stayed close (4-2) until Red Baron rallied for three runs in both the fifth and sixth innings before stopping a come back attempt in the bottom of the seventh for the win.  Alicia Hudson belted a three-run home run, singled, walked, scored three times and amassed five RBIs for Red Baron, Becky Hartranft doubled, singled three times, scored twice and drove in three runs while Krista Phillips and Liz Grove each reached base three times and scored twice.  Jolene Stevens blasted a triple, two singles, scored twice and drove in a run for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Venus Cooper lined a pair of RBI singles as Barbette Hobart and Kaylah Spedding each reached base twice, scored once and knocked in a RBI.

7:00 F (W-B) Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s blanked Wildwood Construction, 13-0.  Six runs in the first inning gave Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s total control of the game.  Donna Ianuzzi belted a home run, singled twice, scored three runs and drove in two runs for Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s, Mary Ann Panzino slugged a three-run home run, a RBI singled and a walk while Beth Brownlee, Dani Davis and Melissa Himes each stroked three hits and scored twice.  Becca Sivy singled twice for Wildwood Construction, Kayla DeRocha singled as Leah Woods walked.

6:00 D (W-B) B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance tripped up Longley Dodge/Travis Floral, 7-3.  Jen Dempsey reached base three times and knocked in two runs for B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance, Mo Kasperek doubled home two runs, singled and scored once as Tammy Sheldon singled twice, scored once and drove in one.  Missy Constanza tripled a run home and scored for Longley Dodge/Travis Floral, Amanda Howland singled, walked and scored as Jesse Mills tripled, walked and scored once.

7:00 D (W-C) Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving scored twice in the seven to down Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, 7-5.  Brett’s Auto Tailgaters took the lead in the first inning and held onto it until Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving tied the scored in the fifth, leading up to the winning runs in the seventh.  Mo Naioti reached base in all four at bates and scored four runs to lead Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving, Gerry Briggs stroked three singles and drove in two runs while Kim Gibbs doubled, singled, scored twice and knocked home a run.  Carrie Kinney lined four singles, scored twice and drove in a run for Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, Stacey Lachut reached base three times and scored once as Vanda Allen singled twice and drove in a run.

8:00 D (W-C) Northern Girls blocked Lakeview Lanes, 15-11.  Northern Girls scored three runs in the first inning but needed four in the third to retake the lead and stayed one step ahead of Lakeview Lanes the remainder of the game.  Sandy Boettcher blasted two triples, a double, walked, scored three runs and knocked home five RBIs for Northern Girls, Amy Emmons belted a home run, triple, scored twice and amassed four RBIs as Jess Bogardus reached base four times, scored four runs and drove in a run.  Kelly Powers slugged a home run, two triples, scored twice and knocked in seven runs for Lakeview Lanes, Heidi Ingison doubled, singled twice, scored three times and drove in two RBIs as Lisa Reed reached base three times and scored once.

9:00 D (W-C) Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating wrecked Wally’s Towing, 16-4.  Five runs in the second and eight in the third gave Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating an unsurmountable lead.  Ashlee Distin homered, singled three times, scored three times and drove in three RBIs for Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating, Shelly Cordone rapped four hits, scored four runs and knocked in two runs while Lori Grow tripled, doubled, singled, scored once and delivered five RBIs.  Becky Allen tripled, scored a run and drove in two RBIs for Wally’s Towing, Angie Vickery singled twice and scored once as Cindy Ferris tripled, singled and knocked in a run.
