This Saturday night, May 31, the 19th running of the Tony White Memorial will feature a very strong field of 20 Pathfinder Bank SBS drivers vying for victory. As part of the tribute, Jake’s Automotive gift certificates will be awarded to both the 4th place starters and finishers – $40 to the 4th place starter and $75 to the 4th place finisher. These certificates come in beautifully handcrafted, wooden-carved and burned envelopes, lovingly created by the White family.
This award will not only be presented at the Tony White race, but will continue throughout the season, offering a $50 Jake’s Automotive gift certificate to the 4th place finisher in upcoming events.
Previous champions of the Tony White Memorial since 2006 include Chris Proud, Dave Gruel, Dave Cliff, Mike Bond, Cameron Rowe, Jason Simmons, Andrew Schartner, Anthony Losurdo, Mark Castiglia, and Dan Kapuscinski.
The White family has been part of Oswego Speedway for decades, carrying on Tony White’s love for racing.
This Saturday’s Tony White Memorial 35-lap event for Pathfinder Bank SBS will run alongside the $5,000 to win Jim Shampine Memorial 60 for Novelis Supermodifieds and a $2,000 to win 30-lap feature for Oswego County 350 Supermodifieds.
