Lakers’ Greco named SUNY Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. – Oswego State junior Nikki Greco (Syracuse, N.Y.) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week for the week ending April 7, 2013.
Greco played a pivotal role in Oswego State knocking off previously No. 19 Geneseo in a 13-12 overtime decision.
She finished the game with 13 saves and six groundballs against the Blue Devils.
Greco made four pivotal saves, including two on free-position shots, in overtime. She later made 13 saves against fourth-ranked Cortland in a losing effort.
Oswego State (4-5, 1-2 SUNYAC) travels to Buffalo State on Tuesday looking to reach the .500 mark before hosting Morrisville on Thursday.
