CORTLAND, N.Y. – Oswego State senior Mike Stark (Rochester, N.Y.) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending March 24, 2013.
The second baseman posted a .407 batting average over the course of seven games that saw the Lakers go 5-2, including two wins against Brockport.

In addition to his batting average, Stark registered a .467 on-base percentage, a .630 slugging percentage and scored seven runs.
He delivered extra-base hits in four of seven contests, including a two-out grand slam in the top of the tenth inning as part of a 9-6 win over Brockport.
Stark also finished the week with nine RBI.
Oswego State (9-4, 2-1 SUNYAC) hosts a doubleheader against Utica on Wednesday starting at 2 p.m., and then hits the road on Saturday to play another pair of games at SUNYIT.
