Local Clarkson University Students Complete Football Season

POTSDAM, NY – The following local students participated on the Clarkson University club football team:

Anthony Funke, of West Monroe, a sophomore cornerback, majoring in civil engineering.

Kasey McConnell, of Pulaski, a junior wide receiver, majoring in communication.

The Clarkson University Golden Knights football club finished the 2012 season with a 4-3 record.

The team was founded two years ago, and has since grown to more than 50 members.

The club finished its 2010 season with a 1 win – 5 loss record and then improved to 3-3 in 2011.
