GARY’S 8 SCRIBA TOWN INN 6 (GARYS WINS 2 GAMES TO 0)
Gary’s which finished second in the league defeated league Scriba Town Inn 8 to 6 to win the B-slow pitch playoff championship 2 games to 0. Gary’s scored 7 times over the first two innings adding an insurance run in the sixth, and then held off the valiant comeback by Scriba Town Inn. In game one last Monday Gary’s defeated Scriba Town Inn 21 to 9.

THIRSTY’S WINS C-SLOW PLAYOFFS 2 GAMES TO 1
GAME ONE
CHEAP SEATS 15 THIRSTY’S 5
Cheap Seats captured game one of this best of 3 series with a 15 to 5 win over Thirsty’s. Leading Cheap Seats with 2 home run with one being a grand slam was Terry Peck, who also added a double. Mike Mullen had two doubles. For Thirsty’s Shane Murray had a double, while Shawn Domicola had a triple. Shawn Baldwin had two hits for Thirsty’s, while Ed Kuzowski had one hit and a double.
GAME TWO
THIRSTY’S 21 CHEAP SEATS 7
Scoring in every inning except the second Thirsty’s bounced back in game two to defeat Cheap Seats. Thirsty’s put the icing on the cake and tied the series at one as they erupted for 9 runs in the seventh. For Thirsty’s Dave Nalle had three hits, while Ed Kuzowki and Dom Ritz had two hits each. Terry Peck had another home run for Cheap Seats, while Jim Higgins added three hits. Kurt Pomerenke and Art Brown each had two hits
GAME THREE
THIRSTY’S 17 CHEAP SEATS 8
Taking an early 5 run lead, Thirsty’s won game three of this best of 3 series against Cheap Seats 17 to 8. In the deciding game. Leading Thirst’s with two singles and a double was Shawn Domicola. Shane Murray added a single and triple. Picking up multiple hits for Thirsty’s was Ed. Kuzowki, Dave Nalle, Juan Vazquez, and Dave Burger. Art Brown had two hits to lead Cheap Seats.
