Oswego State Baseball Continues Strong Spring With 4-3 Win Over Baruch

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The Oswego State baseball team continued to sizzle this spring as it pushed its overall record to 8-2 by defeating Baruch College, 4-3 in nine innings, on Sunday afternoon in Old Westbury, N.Y. With the game tied at 3-3, Mike Stark provided the game-winning RBI in the top of the seventh inning as the Lakers came away with the win. Oswego State travels to Clarkson to face the Golden Knights on Wednesday for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.

Dan Erne earned the victory in 3.2 innings of relief allowing just one hit in relief of Brady Farkas, who pitched 5.1 innings. Dan Maloney and Steve Roman went 2-for-4 with a RBI apiece for the Lakers.
