OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women’s basketball team kept pace in the SUNYAC standings by posting a 65-61 win over visiting Plattsburgh on WBCA “Pink Zone” night at Max Ziel Gymnasium. The Lakers saw a second-half double-digit lead dwindle down to three points with 1:25 remaining in the game before a layup by Kayla Ryan (So., Schaghticoke, N.Y.) made it a two-possession game with less than a minute to play. Traci Bacon (Jr., Massena, N.Y.) led the Oswego State offensive attack with 18 points followed by Ryan’s 16. Plattsburgh’s Taylor Amarando led all scorers with 23 points. Oswego State moved into fourth place in the standings at 8-6 and improved to 11-10 overall, while the Cardinals fell to 2-18 on the season and 0-14 in league play.
