The Buccaneers came out on top over the Redhawks

The Oswego Boys Varsity Basketball Team won its’ second straight game of the season on Thursday night in Central Square. The Buccaneers came out on top over the Redhawks by a score of 68-56.
After trailing midway through the opening quarter, the Buccaneers regrouped to lead 22-12 at the end of the period. At halftime Oswego continued to lead by a score of 36-30.
At the end of the third stanza the Buccaneers led by a score of 52-43. During the final eight minutes, the Oswego squad made the plays necessary to secure a well-earned SCAC League victory on the road.
Senior forward Moreno Fenty led the Oswego scorers with a game-high 26 points. Junior guards Camden Atkinson and Mac Fitzgerald contributed 19 and 9 points respectively.
James Carr (5), Tommy Kirwan (4), Kevin Waters (3), and Noah Bwalya (2) completed the Oswego scoring.
Oswego will host Fulton on Tuesday night.
