Up to Speed: King of Wings IV Facts and Figures

OSWEGO, NY – Burke’s Home Centers and CNY Central present King of Wings IV this Saturday at Oswego Speedway featuring the ISMA Supermodifieds, Xtreme Sprint Car Series, and the Pathfinder Bank SBS Series.

Both the Supermodifieds and Xtreme Sprints will be highlighted in the Terminal Velocity Showdown time trials at 5 p.m., to see if the 2008 Oswego Speedway track record of 15.198 seconds at 148mph can be broken.

Upwards of 35 Supermodifieds are expected to be in attendance, while 20+ Sprint Cars are tabbed to be at the lakeside oval.

The ISMA Supermodifieds will compete in a 50-lap main event while the Xtreme Sprints will hit the Speedway for a 30-lap feature.  The Pathfinder Bank SBS will take on the fast 5/8 for 35 circuits.

WHEN:

Saturday July 7, at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY.  Pit Gates will open at noon, grandstands at 2 p.m., and time trials at 5 p.m.  RAINDATE: Sunday, July 8

Oswego Speedway is located at 300 East Albany St. in Oswego, NY just off Route 104E.

Oswego Speedway is a semi-banked 5/8 mile paved oval.  The non-wing Novelis Supermodified track record is held by Doug Didero with a time of 16.210 seconds at 138.786mph, established on September 5, 2009.

The overall Oswego Speedway track record is 15.198 seconds at 148.096mph set on August 29, 2008 by Chris Perley in an MSA sanctioned, winged Supermodified event.
