OSWEGO – St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Residence will host the final workshop in a series presented by the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter entitled, “Dementia Conversations.”
St. Francis Commons is located at 12 Burkle St., on the St. Luke healthcare campus. This educational workshop is free of charge and open to the public.
This workshop will offer tips on how to have honest and caring conversations with family members about issues ranging from going to the doctor, deciding when to stop driving, making legal and financial plans, and ways the Alzheimer’s Association and other community resources can help.
Attendance at any of the previous workshops in this series hosted by St. Francis Commons is not a perquisite for participation, anyone can attend.
