OSWEGO – St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Residence in Oswego will host a workshop by the Alzheimer’s Association entitled, “Legal and Financial Planning” on August 16 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Light refreshments will be provided.
St. Francis Commons is located at 12 Burkle St., on the St. Luke healthcare campus.
If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, planning for the future is important.
This program will give an overview of pertinent legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and health care proxies, as well as an overview of financial issues and options like Medicare, Medicaid or veterans benefits.

This educational series provided by the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York and hosted by St. Francis Commons in Oswego will conclude with the “Dementia Conversations” workshop on September 14.
