St. Joseph’s Annual Craft Show Coming December 13

OSWEGO -One more weekend remains until the annual St. Joseph’s Church’s Craft Show and Bake Sale to be held December 13 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the parish center, across from the YMCA.

Nearly 70 vendors will be offering their homemade crafts for this handicapped-accessible show with convenient parking on West First Street or our parking lots on West Second Street.

Homemade soup and delicious chili will be served for lunch as well as delicious home baked goodies for dessert.

Proceeds from this year’s show will again benefit our building repairs.

The show will also feature a huge bake sale, including homemade breads, rolls and pies, as well as cookies, brownies and cheesecake.

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate ,soda, and doughnuts will be available when the doors open at 10 a.m.

Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. by the choir members manning the kitchen.

The menu will feature homemade chili, homemade chicken noodle soup and hot dogs.

Take out will be available.

Bring your Christmas list as you should be able to find something for everyone on it.

For our animal lovers, we have dog sweaters and catnip toys.

Handmade crocheted and knitted hats, sweaters, scarves, and mittens will be available.

At this show, we feature angels dressed in brocade, doll clothes for Barbie and other baby dolls.

Crochet-topped towels, slippers and scarves are also available as a convenient gift for that special someone.

Hand-crafted sterling silver jewelry made with Swarovski crystals as well as beads made of semi-precious stones will be on hand for sale.

We even offer stretch bracelets made with glass beads that make a great one-size-fits-all teacher gift!

Or try one of the rip-cord bracelets available also.

This year, we offer Christmas wreaths created from paper as well as candle centerpieces and table decorations made from fresh evergreens.

Birdhouses, wooden walking sticks, and hand-painted decorated shelves will be featured.

You can even purchase gifts for your pets , choosing a new animal bed, dog sweaters or assorted toys.

You are sure to find lots of gift ideas for those on your Christmas list.

Hourly raffles will also be drawn, but you must be present to win.
