Standard First Aid With CPR/AED Adult, Child, & Infant Class To Be Held

March 29, 2010

On Wednesday April 7th and Thursday April 8th, the American Red Cross will hold a two evening class that will result in certification in Standard First Aid with CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. The class will be held from 5:30pm-10:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30pm-9:30pm at the Oswego branch office located at 333 West First Street in Oswego.

This two evening class will teach participants the skills necessary to respond to sudden emergencies of adults, children, and infants. Such skills and training taught throughout the class will be; how to control bleeding; identifying the signals of stroke, poisoning, diabetic emergency, and allergic relations; and how to identify when it’s necessary and how to use an AED and CPR on adults, children and infants.

After taking the class, participants will know how to respond to situations and signals they would have been reluctant to help with if they were not certified.

If interested and would like more information, please contact the branch office at 343-0967 or visit for more details.
