State Police Investigate Fatal Crash in Palermo

FULTON, NY – On Sunday, State Police in Fulton responded to a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 11:47 a.m. at the intersection of State Route 3 and State Route 264 in the town of Palermo.

The investigation revealed a 2008 Honda motorcycle operated by Raymond C. Fedeli, 74, from Greece, NY, along with his passenger, Barbara Fedeli, 75, were at the intersection of State Route 264 and State Route 3 attempting to turn north onto State Route 3 when he entered the intersection and failed to yield to a 2002 Chrysler Sebring, operated by Leonard O. Gibeau, 34, from Oswego, who was traveling southbound on State Route 3, troopers said.

Raymond Fedeli was pronounced deceased at  Oswego Hospital.

Barbara Fedeli was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for non-life threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is continuing.
