State Police: Man Sold Vehicle He Had No Right To Sell

CICERO, NY – Oneida State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Gary R. Moth, 43, of North Syracuse, for selling a vehicle which he had no right to sell.

Moth perpetrated himself as a car salesman and completed a false sales contract relative to the sale of a vehicle in the town of Cicero, according to the report.

Moth also allegedly accepted a cash down payment for said vehicle.

He was charged with Forgery in the Second Degree and Petit Larceny in the Town of Cicero Court.

Moth was arraigned in the Town of Salina Court and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on no bail.

He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Cicero Court on January 23 at noon.

Moth was also wanted on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Manlius Court for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree.

And, he was further wanted on a bench warrant issued by the Village of Central Square Court for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree.
