Oswego, NY – The Oswego Farmers Market continues this Thursday, September 17th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on West First Street in Oswego. This week’s market will have an Irish theme featuring Irish music, Irish food courtesy of the Oswego Hibernians who will be on hand selling their famous corned beef sandwiches, and the highlight of the evening, exciting performances featuring Irish step dancers from The Kinlough Academy of Irish Dance and The Butler-Sheehan Academy of Irish Dance. The performances will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The Oswego Farmers’ Market hosts over 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, home made baked goods and delicacies, honey, maple syrup, and plenty of arts and crafts along with other crowd favorites such as fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough, Italian sausages and more. Market goers will also have the opportunity to help grow the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival by purchasing 50 / 50 raffle tickets. Tickets will be available at the Chamber booth each week of the market. The winning ticket will be drawn during the Pumpkin Festival at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4th in Washington Square Park. You need not be present to win.
Each week the Market is adding new vendors and items. Join Oswego’s weekly community block party and catch up on the latest news from all your friends and see what’s new at the Oswego Farmers’ Market every Thursday night. While the Farmers’ Market is fun for the whole family, the Chamber would like to remind everyone that for the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.
