Stephancia Watson, 73 formerly of Fulton, passed away June 28 in Florida.
Born in Mexico, she was a long time resident of Fulton prior to moving to Florida. Steff had worked at G.E., The Post Standard, Fulton City Schools and McDonald’s. She was communicant of The Church of the Immaculate Conception and a member of Catholic Daughters. She had also volunteered for hospice. Steff enjoyed arts, crafts, quilting and needle work, camping, bingo and playing cards.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Watson.
Steff is survived by her husband of 53 years, Walt Watson; children, Matthew (Judy) of NM, William (Heather) of Fulton, Anne (Michael) Snyder of Waterford, David (Sharon) of PA, Paul (Ashley) of NC; a sister, Katie Cybater of N. Syracuse; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Steff’s birthday, Friday, July 8 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corners of So. Third and Buffalo St., Fulton. Burial will be at Mexico Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
