OSWEGO, NY – The H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center is swabbing the decks for a hearty afternoon of pirate carousing.
Brush off your eye patch, grab your parrot and sign up for a Kids’ Pirate Party on July 11 or 24 (10 a.m. – noon).
Fun will abound in Oswego’s “Historic Maritime District.”
Young lads and lasses can consort with fellow pirates.
Land lubbers can throw in with the lot and become pirates for a day.
Pirate garb is strongly encouraged.
Games, activities, music, grub, a scavenger hunt and treasure to plunder for home are on the list of pirating fun for the day.
Space is still available, but tickets must be purchased in advance.
The cost is only $12 per child (ask about member discounts).
Contact the museum at 315-342-0480 or [email protected] for more information or to RSVP.
Also check hleewhitemarinemuseum.com or facebook.com/hlwmm for details on this and all the other great programming scheduled for 2013.
