Strong Racing FUNRaiser to Benefit Two Oswego Speedway Teams

OSWEGO, NY – The annual Strong Racing FUNRaiser will take place yet again at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego on February 7 beginning at 1 p.m., but with a special twist in 2015.

With Strong Racing taking a year off this coming season, all money raised at this year’s fundraiser will instead go to one Supermodified and one Small Block Super team at the Speedway as a thank you to all teams for their support throughout the years.

The annual get-together will once again be a chicken barbeque and pulled pork fundraiser with dinners available for a donation of $10.

Entertainment will be provided by Ron Gray’s Millennium Music with 50/50 and Chinese raffles taking place through the night.

Race fans in attendance will get to mark ballots for the teams they would like to earn the proceeds from the fundraiser in 2015 and each race team in attendance that donates a raffle prize will receive another vote in the drawing.

Donations are welcome for prize baskets and any donations can be delivered ahead of time to the Strong Racing garage or to Lighthouse Lanes.

Any questions concerning the fundraiser or raffles are encouraged to call Terry Strong at (315) 806-3633.

Following the fundraiser, Lighthouse Lanes will also be putting on its annual Mardi Gras Party, which will cap the evening with more entertainment, drink specials and fun.
