With a focus on always doing the right thing, 22 Fairgrieve Elementary School students were recognized with awards during the Morning Express program held April 29.
Principal Jean Ciesla presented the students with medals as they celebrated the distinction of being a Principal’s Award winner.
According to Ciesla, the honorees have displayed exemplary behavior during the school year and in the third marking period in particular.
“These students are truly role models of our school,” Ciesla said. “They follow expectations on a regular and consistent basis.”
The students who met these expectations and were honored during the ceremony include William Duso, Jada Barnwell and Damien Drought (kindergarten); Adelaide McEachen, Trista Sullivan and Dakota Brown (first grade); Tristan Kent, Mariela Mejia-Merida, Ty Nesbitt and Annabella Epolito (second grade); Kiara Pittman, Jasminn Bort and Kayla McCraith (third grade); Olivia Cunningham, Rosiline Knoblock and Tiffany Macri (fourth grade); Alexa Patterson, Ana Marroquin-Aguilar and Braeci Clonch (fifth grade); and Julie Ann Dunning, Nolan Gardenier and Paige Pierce (sixth grade).
