PHOENIX, NY – For the past several years, in an effort to ensure every child is prepared for school, the United Way of Greater Oswego County conducts “Stuff-A-Bus.”
The county-wide campaign, which just wrapped up last week, benefits every school district in Oswego County.
Once the supplies were collected and sorted, they were then distributed to the school districts.
In Phoenix, families came through the line on Stuff-A-Bus distribution day (Aug. 17) at the Maroun Elementary School intermediate gymnasium.
Along with the pencils, paper, backpacks and lunch boxes, boxes of T-shirts were donated by one business entity to the Stuff-A-Bus campaign and passed on to local families.
