Women employees and business owners need inspiration, ideas, information, and other women to network with.

The theme for this year’s event is “Reset – Recharge – Revive” and will feature several dynamic speakers, networking opportunities, continental breakfast, lunch, and a dessert reception.

Following lunch, our speakers will participate in a panel Q&A.

Kelly Sullivan, global organizational consultant, trainer and founder of CSTI – Core Skills, True Impact, will present “Successful Women Wear Better Shoes.”

Join Kelly (a self-proclaimed shoe addict) on a journey through the challenges of women in business, told through shoes. From donning your confident shoes, to celebrating success with a pair of great trophy heels, it’s all about gaining the right perspective, and women often do that through the shoes they choose.

Whether it’s tenacity, resilience or learning from failure, in this session you will learn to “choose the right shoes” for every business challenge you face.

Again this year, headshots will be offered by Dayger Photography, with no sitting fee.

Free hair and makeup touchups will also be available.

Also returning this year is Bee-Hive Networking.

What is Bee-Hive Networking?

It is a business building activity that allows you to find exactly what you are looking for in a very short period of time.

There are no elevator speeches, no selling, and no fears or discomforts.

Each attendee could walk away with an average of 12-20 cards of qualified prospects who want to meet them.

Come “catch the buzz” with Bee-Hive Networking.

Please be sure to come armed with 100 business cards.

Sponsors to date include SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET), NBT Bank, Operation Oswego County, Pathfinder Bank and Mitchell’s Speedway Press.

Tickets for Connections are $55 and are available through Operation Oswego County at www.oswegocounty.org/Connections/tickets.html
