FULTON – Oswego AmeriCorps members Paige Havener and Jacob Belcher are working in conjunction with the Fulton City Parks and Recreation office to create a summer program that’s available for children in preschool, up to sixth grade.
The program will begin July 5th and run until mid-August.
The program allows kids to find ways to get active through activities like kickball, tag and obstacle courses.
It will also focus on teaching kids healthy habits that they can develop now, and continue for the rest of their lives.
Summer Fun in Fulton’s Parks will be held at two different parks on weekdays: Patrick Park, located on Frawley Drive near Patrick Circle, will have a morning session from 10 a.m. to noon and John Lincoln Park, located off of East Broadway near Pathfinder Courts, will have an afternoon session from 1-3 p.m.
If you are interested in looking at the schedule of activities, the entire calendar will be listed on the program’s facebook page, Summer Fun in Fulton’s Parks.
If you are interested in learning more information or again wish to have a copy of the schedule, contact Havener and Belcher at [email protected] or at 766-0593.
We hope to see you there.
