Sunrise Rotary Donates Books, Learns About Hospice

</p>Rotarian and Executive Director of Friends of Hospice, Debbie Bishop, left, introduced Betty Martin, Medical Social Worker for Oswego County Health Department at a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting.  Ms. Martin described all the services the Hospice Program provides.  Hospice is essentially "end of life care", when death is perceived to be less than six months away.    The Hospice team consisting of doctors, nurses, social workers and volunteers all help provide support to the caregivers and keep the patient comfortable in their final stage of life.
