SUNY Canton Students Earn Dean’s List Honors

CANTON, NY – Students are being recognized for their outstanding achievement at SUNY Canton during the fall 2014 semester.

“On behalf of the entire SUNY Canton community, I’d like to congratulate each of you on your academic success this semester,” said SUNY Canton President Zvi Szafran. “We applaud the hard work and perseverance you’ve demonstrated to attain this special recognition.”

To receive Dean’s List Honors, students must full-time students must earn at least a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Among the students who made Dean’s List are:

Brandon Solon of Bernhards Bay. Solon is a SUNY Canton Sports Management major who graduated from Paul V. Moore High School in 2011.

Rose Thompson of Cato. Thompson is a SUNY Canton Liberal Arts – General Studies major who graduated from Cato-Meridian High School in 2013.

Tristin N. Woodard of Central Square. Woodard is a SUNY Canton Veterinary Technology major who graduated from Paul V. Moore High School in 2009.

Makayla C. Fowler of Hannibal. Fowler is a SUNY Canton Veterinary Technology major who graduated from Hannibal Central School in 2014.

Gregory D. Gelsi of Martville. Gelsi is a SUNY Canton Alternative and Renewable Energy Systems major who graduated from Hannibal Central School in 2011.

Robbie J. Abrantes of Mexico. Abrantes is a SUNY Canton Civil Engineering Technology major who graduated from Mexico Academy and Central School in 2011.

Skylar C. Miller of Minetto. Miller is a SUNY Canton Funeral Services Administration major who graduated from Oswego High School in 2009.

Trenton T. Yule of Oswego. Yule is a SUNY Canton Alternative and Renewable Energy Systems major who graduated from Oswego High School in 2012.
