SUNY Oswego Ice Hockey Teams To Welcome United Way


OSWEGO, NY – November 21 will be a special day for the United Way of Greater Oswego County as they will be guests for both the SUNY Oswego Women’s Ice Hockey game at 3 p.m. against Buffalo State and the SUNY Oswego Men’s Ice Hockey game at 7 p.m. against Morrisville.

Representatives from the United Way will be on hand to drop the puck for both games at the SUNY Oswego Campus Center and supporters of the United Way will be in attendance as special guests.

Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Melanie Trexler, is looking forward to being a part of the excitement of Laker hockey.

“We are very appreciative of the partnership that we have fostered with SUNY Oswego and coaches Diane Dillon and Ed Gosek,” she said. “They have been strong supporters of the United Way and we are happy that they are helping raise awareness of the United Way and the important impact our annual campaign has on the quality of life in Oswego County.”

Tickets for all SUNY Oswego Laker men’s and women’s ice hockey games may be purchased at the Campus Center Box Office, on the concourse near the plaza entrance and ice arena.

The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
