SUNY Oswego Recorder Consort ‘Going For Baroque’ Nov. 11

SUNY Oswego Recorder ConsortOSWEGO, NY – The SUNY Oswego Recorder Consort will perform “Going for Baroque” at 2 p.m. Nov. 11, at the Church of the Resurrection, West Fifth and Cayuga streets.

The concert is free and open to the public.

A broad selection of Baroque period compositions will include the work of such masters as Bach, Handel, Telemann, Pachelbel, Corelli and Purcell.

Consort members include (from left) John Brunson on soprano recorder, director Marilynn Smiley on alto recorder, Jane Wright on tenor recorder and Burton Phillips on bass recorder.
