SUNY Oswego Student Charged With Rape

OSWEGO – SUNY Police at SUNY Oswego today (Oct. 29) arrested Adarsha Budhathoki, 18, of Brewster on charges of third-degree rape, a felony, as well as second-degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree sexual abuse.

Budhathoki is accused of assaulting a female student in the early morning hours Sunday in a residence hall on campus.

Budhathoki is also a student at SUNY Oswego.

He was arraigned in Town of Oswego Court before Justice Donald H. Dodd this afternoon (Thursday) and remanded to the Oswego County Public Safety Center jail in lieu of bail in the amount of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
