OSWEGO – SUNY Oswego will hold online information sessions about two of its options for master of business administration degrees: the online MBA and the MBA in health services administration.
The information session for the online MBA will take place noon to 1 p.m. on Aug. 8 and the session for the MBA in health services administration will span noon to 1 p.m. on Aug. 13.
To sign up for an online session, visit www.oswego.edu/mbainfo. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited.
Irene Scruton, director of MBA programs, and MBA-HSA coordinator Sarah Bonzo will lead the online sessions, during which students will have the opportunity to ask questions in real time about the programs.
“It doesn’t matter where our MBA online students are located; they can be around the world or in the next town,” Scruton said. “Our live, interactive information sessions are a great opportunity for our students to have an in-person meeting in a virtual environment with our faculty and staff.”
The MBA in health services administration was created in response to requests from local employers. It is designed for professionals who would like to work or advance in health care administration.
“The new MBA in HSA program offers a blend of business- and health care-focused coursework that will prepare students for leadership careers in the growing health care industry,” Bonzo said. “The program is offered online with opportunities to take courses in the classroom.”
SUNY Oswego’s online MBA program was ranked 26th in the nation this year by U.S. News, placing it in the top 5 percent of such business programs globally.
The business school is AACSB-accredited.
