OSWEGO – SUNY Oswego’s Penfield Library will hold its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 11, offering hardcover books for $1 and paperbacks for 50 cents.
The public is invited to the sale, which also will feature magazines and a variety of media, from records to videos to audiocassettes, assistant librarian Chris Hebblethwaite said.
Most items in the sale come from donations; some are leaving Penfield’s collection, he said.
SUNY Oswego classes will be in session that day, so the library and University Police have designated employee lots E-1, between the lake and the rear door of Penfield, and E-18, a larger lot south of Hart and Funnelle residence halls, for public parking on a space-available basis.
To reach the sale, sponsored by the library and Penfield Library Associates, enter the front door of Penfield on the academic quad and follow the signs to the basement.
