SUNY Potsdam to Recognize Class of 2018 at Commencement

POTSDAM, NY — The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize nearly 900 candidates for graduation during the College’s 2018 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 19.

The SUNY Potsdam Class of 2018 will be awarded baccalaureate and master’s degrees at the ceremony.

The local graduates include:

Maggie Balles-Clark of Phoenix, NY, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication and English Writing

Jacob Clark of Mexico, NY, graduating with distinction with a Master of Science in Teaching degree in Childhood Education

Colleen Fraser of Oswego, NY, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science

Allison Gilliam of Pulaski, NY, graduating with a Master of Science in Teaching degree in English 7-12

Gabriella Guarasce of Sandy Creek, NY, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology

Lawrence Halsey of Pulaski, NY, graduating with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education

Morgan Hillman of Oswego, NY, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health

Emily King of Oswego, NY, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance and Music Business

Jordan Smith of Richland, NY, graduating with distinction with a Master of Science degree in Organizational Performance and Technology

Megan Snow of Pulaski, NY, graduating with distinction with a Master of Science degree in Community Health

Shayna Wilson of Central Square, NY, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication
