OSWEGO, NY– On Oct. 30, SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations and the Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training will gather women from across New York State for “Connections,” a day-long conference to be held at The American Foundry, near the SUNY Oswego campus, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The keynote speaker, Susan Bertrand, president of Maureen’s Hope Foundation, brings hope, inspiration, comfort, practical support and assistance to people within the Central New York community facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis or life altering disease.
Bertrand will speak on “Overcoming Fear to Grow Your Passion.”
Two of the confirmed speakers for this year’s event include Dr. Mary Starr Carter, Total Wellness Doc and Mom, who will speak on “Overcoming Fear in the Online and Offline World” and JoBeth Dellinger, owner of Artist Pianos, Ltd., who will speak on “Stacking Turtles: Lessons in Sustainable Business Growth.”
Also speaking on this year’s topic will be Joleene DesRosiers Moody of Joleene Speaks, former CNY television reporter turned transformational speaker, author and life coach and Sherry Auble, the Savvy Sales and Marketing Pro.
Our emcee will be Farah Jadran, editor of Syracuse Woman Magazine.
