  1. One of the most influential women in my life. Nana taught me so many things and I am thankful for those lessons and my time in her life. I was fortunate enough to spend a little telephone time with her just a short time ago. We talked of her first Grandchild and of life in general and all the lessons we learn. We laughed though and that is what I will cherish the most. Always firm but loving is how I will remember Sue. My heart goes out to the entire Backus family as they mourn and celebrate her life! Thank you for everything!
