OSWEGO, NY – On Friday (September 30), at approximately 4:02 p.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Fulton City Police Department, executed a narcotics related search warrant on a 2004 Dodge Caravan and its sole occupant and driver, Lavenia M. Gary-Vann, as she operated it on South Fourth Street near County Route 57 in the city of Fulton.
As a result of the search warrant execution, a total of 19 individual bags of cocaine and crack cocaine were seized from Gary-Vann’s person, police said today (Oct. 7).
The total weight of the seized narcotics was approximately 20 grams.
The illegal narcotics have an estimated street value of $2,000.
Gary-Vann, 33, of 113 Griffiths St. Apt #2 Syracuse, was arrested and charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, more than a ½ ounce – Class B Felony
Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree – Class A Misdemeanor
Gary-Vann was arraigned in Fulton City Court and released on her own recognizance.
