Members of Lanigan Elementary School’s Student Congress each brought a friend and gathered at Fulton’s Patrick Park to clean and beautify the playground. Students in grades third through sixth worked together to remove trash and debris, rake leaves and grass, pull weeds, and plant flowers just as they had previously at Recreation Park.
Fulton Lions Club Makes Improvements At Oswego Falls Park For Sixth Straight Year
Members of the Fulton Lions Club, a representative of AmeriCorps, and several AmeriCorps volunteers spread new mulch and created a landing area around a slide recently as part of a cleanup project at Fulton’s Oswego Falls Park on South First Street.

Tennis Carnival Serves Up Fun For Youngsters
The USTA Tennis Program teaches basic tennis skills and gives youth a chance to get outside and exercise, said the program’s coordinator. A carnival was held to give them a chance to show off what they’ve learned.

On Aug. 13, the Fulton Farmers’ Market in partnership with Oswego County AmeriCorps and Furenzi Family Day Care, will host a Nutrition Play in which various children from Furenzi Family Day Care will be dressing up as fruits and vegetables.
