Brouse, Clark Remembered for Their Service to Oswego County Students

Two members of the CiTi Board of Education representing two separate Oswego County school districts have died within one week of each other. Janice Clark, 83, of Mexico passed away December 29, 2017, and Casey Brouse, 51, of Parish, passed away January 4, 2018. Clark was an active member of both the Mexico Central School District Board of Education as well as the CiTi Board of Education at the time of her passing. Brouse was president of the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Board of Education as well as a member of the CiTi Board of Education at the time of his passing.

APW Students Participate in Earth Day Cleanup in Their Community

Students at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School spent several hours working to clean up nearby Riverside Cemetery in Altmar recently in recognition of Earth Day and as part of the community service component of their Social Studies 12 – Economics and Participation in Government class taught by Steve Prusack.  Students in the class included: Scarlett White, Dan Smith, Benji Clark, Liberty Tanner, Hannah Flanagan, Britt Kimber, Zach Matthie, Brien Disbro, Alysia Schreyer, Erica Guenthner, Tricia Thorp, Taylor Britton, Britt Sikora, Don Sanderson, Nate Graham and Tyler Weaver. The annual clean up has been a part of community service at the school since shortly after the first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970. Entergy’s FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Holds County-Wide Science Competition
