Deputies Determining Relationship Between Murder Suspect and Victims

UPDATE: The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has identified the second victim of an assault/homicide case in West Monroe on September 10. The second victim of the assault is 59-year-old Michael Shane of 451 County Route 11, West Monroe. Oswego County Undersheriff Eugene Sullivan said Matthew R. LeBoeuf, 33, charged with mudering Robert Diffin, 42, and leaving a second victim in critical condition did know the victims. Deputies are investigating to determine the capacity of their relationship.

SUNY Oswego Armed Assault Suspect Apprehended After Citizen Tip

The suspect of an assault at SUNY Oswego has been apprehended, identified and is pending charges according to a campus wide announcement delivered around 10:30 tonight (December 9.) The suspect, identified as Eric DeBrose, was allegedly involved in an assault against a Seneca Hall resident during the afternoon hours earlier the same day.

Assault Investigation Results In One Arrest

A city man who called police claiming he had been assault was himself arrested over the weekend. In the course of their investigation, police discovered allegedly unlawfully possessed hypodermic instruments in his residence. The assault investigation is on-going.

Four Oswego Men Facing Felony Burglary-Assault Charges

four arrestedAt about 2:57 a.m. today (July 2), Oswego Police were dispatched to a residence on East Sixth Street in the city. Upon arrival and initial investigation, it was determined that four men had allegedly engaged an adult male victim in a physical altercation outside the victim’s East Sixth Street residence. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said. The four alleged attackers were arrested a short time later.

Guppy Waives To County Court

The case against a Fulton teenager who was arrested after allegedly causing serious injuries to his 18-month-old daughter will see its next days in a grand jury room. Robby J. Guppy, 17, of 604 E. Broadway, upstairs apartment, was slated to appear in Fulton City Court Wednesday. Instead, his attorney waived the charges to Oswego County Court. Guppy has been free on bail since Aug. 18.
