Award-winning student art work will be on display at the annual Oswego City School District Art Show. This year’s event will be held at the Oswego Art Guild Center on the Fort Ontario grounds. The opening reception is scheduled for May 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the gallery.
Several Oswego High School students who were award winners in the Central New York Scholastic Arts competition recently were recognized by the Oswego City School District Board of Education for their accomplishments.
Once again the Oswego High School Buccaneer Bulletin newspaper earned “All New York Gold Overall Newspaper” at the annual 2010 Empire State School Press Association Awards ceremony.
The Oswego Middle School String Orchestra was named the “Grand Champion†at the Darien Lake Music Festival while the OMS Combined Chorus was first place in its category.
