Catholic Charities of Oswego County is helping families throughout Oswego County make their food dollars stretch a little further through their participation in the Food Sense Program.
Representatives from Catholic Charities of Oswego County will be participating in this year’s CROP Hunger Walk for Oswego County.

One of Trinity Catholic School’s smallest sixth grade classes graduated Tuesday night during a commencement celebration and mass at St. Joseph’s Church. The ceremony marked a stop along one part of the 12 students’ journey, but was also the starting point to the next part of their journey – middle schools in Oswego and other parts of the county.

Members of Trinity Catholic School’s three-day program for three-year-olds took visitors down to the farm Wednesday evening. They presented the musical “Going to the Farm.†The 10 boys and girls in the class performed such favorites as Six Little Ducks, Take Me Out To The Farm, Five Spotted Cows, The Jingle Jangle Scarecrow and others. A former Trinity Catholic School student returned Wednesday to take on the sixth graders in the annual sports day challenge. She raced against the school’s four fastest sixth graders – with some mixed results.
Students and staff wind up Catholic School Week celebration with ‘millionaire’ competition and a volleyball game that pitted the sixth grade against the faculty and staff. Ironiclly, the school’s sledding party was cancelled due to a lack of snow.
