Outstanding first-year students entering Oswego are offered $17,600 Presidential Scholarships ($4,400 a year for up to four years), $5,000 Deans’ Awards ($1,250 a year for up to four years) or $2,000 Merit Awards ($500 a year for up to four years).

Jennifer Gorea, a resident of Fulton, NY, has been named to the Spring 2009 Champlain College’s Dean”s List for academic achievements. Gorea is majoring in Social Work. Students named to the Dean’s List are full-time students with a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or more. President’s List honors are for a grade-point average of 4.0. Trustees Scholar students are students on the President’s List for two consecutive semesters.
