Guppy Waives To County Court
The case against a Fulton teenager who was arrested after allegedly causing serious injuries to his 18-month-old daughter will see its next days in a grand jury room. Robby J. Guppy, 17, of 604 E. Broadway, upstairs apartment, was slated to appear in Fulton City Court Wednesday. Instead, his attorney waived the charges to Oswego County Court. Guppy has been free on bail since Aug. 18.
Barboni Arraignment Delayed
Arraignment proceedings for Jay Barboni, the man accused of murder in the death of his girlfriend’s son, have been delayed. By decision of the grand jury, Barboni is facing a three-count indictment that includes second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and second-degree manslaughter.

Lanza Irked At Arrest Procedure
Salvatore Lanza, the defense attorney for the Maxwell/Jones family, said he was “appalled” that he had to learn of his clients’ arrests through the media Tuesday. Lanza said he plans to address the matter with a judge this morning during Alan Jones’ appearance in Oswego County Court.
