The Fulton Lions Club’s 12th annual “Lions Loot” sweepstakes has been moved to April 19, 2015. The event has traditionally been in November and the change in date is due, in part, to how closely Lions Loot has fallen to the club’s September Duck Derby. The event drawings are scheduled for 1 p.m. April 19, 2015 at the Fulton Polish Home.
David Dingman, past president of the Fulton Lions Club, received the Robert J. Uplinger Award at the club’s Sept. 18 meeting, it was announced by Gail Holmes, club president. Megan Henderson, coordinator, Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County, made a presentation to the club.
The Fulton Lions Club has announced that they will be hosting “The Mane Event” comedy night with nationally known comedian Tom Anzalone, April 25, 8 p.m. at the Fulton Polish Home.
Gerald Seguin, director of facilities, operations and transportation for the Fulton City School District, was the guest speaker at the Jan. 16 meeting of the Fulton Lions Club. Seguin reviewed the details of $4.4 million in capital improvement projects that the district will bring before residents in a Feb. 4 referendum vote
Joe Fiumara, director of the Fulton Community Development Agency made a presentation on behalf of the Lake Neahtawanta Revitalization Project and Zac Merry was inducted as the newest member at the Fulton Lions Club Nov. 14 meeting.
