As we celebrate our 200th anniversary today (March 10) and throughout this year we should keep in mind all of our predecessors who dedicated their time and talents to the ongoing mission to make this a better place for all. The county got a lot accomplished in 2015; more needs to be done in 2016, the chairman said, adding – I am open and will remain open to suggestions from legislators regarding any issue they feel should be addressed. Again, all I ask is that the objective makes good operational sense and has a positive benefit to the taxpayer.

Dorothy I. Gardner, 82, of 32 Brandy Brook Lane, Phoenix, died Saturday, July 12, 2008. Born in syracuse to her late parents, Joseph and Anna (Trytek) Kuta. Dorothy was a line operator for Syroco Co., Baldwinsville, for 28 years, retiring in 1991. She was predeceased by her late husband, Harry M. “Skid” Gardner, in 2003;
