Oswego Hospital learned Tuesday it has been awarded $14.4 million in grant funds that enable the health care facility to make improvements to several key hospital departments in order to support the future healthcare needs of residents in Oswego County. The funding, called HEAL NY (Healthcare Efficiency and Affordability Law for New Yorkers) is designated to meet the mandates of the Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century.
Through the efforts of the Fulton Community Development Agency, more than two dozen families in the city of Fulton will receive assistance for home repairs. The CDA recently learned that its application for $450,000 in funding for the HOME Program was successful.
