Well, I just bought my first house and then I went and adopted my first dog, Skippy, and now I am getting ready to put in my first garden. Public Health Director Dr. Dennis Norfleet said the horse was exposed to the virus during the middle of July. The horse was humanely euthanized and a tissue specimen was submitted to the New York State Health Department’s Wadsworth Center lab for testing.
More than 700 area residents took advantage of the multi blood analysis held August 1st in Oswego. The event was coordinated by Oswego Health and the Oswego Kiwanis Club, and screened individuals for various conditions such as anemia, diabetes, as well as several diseases including coronary, kidney, and liver.
