Oswego Area Escapes Big Snowstorm

An early spring bout with Old Man Winter decorates a tree and bush with snow in Scriba on Wednesday.

According to Bill Gregway, local observer for the national Weather Service, Oswego received 1.2 inches of snow. “There was a lot, an awful lot, to our south and west,” he said. “It caused a lot of accidents and closings elsewhere. For us, it was no big deal.”
