Police are conducting an investigation after the discovery of a marijuana grow field on the eastern end of the city. No criminal charges have yet been filed pending the outcome of the investigation.
In the week and a half since 11-year-old Erin Maxwell’s death, police continue to investigate her death as a homicide. Still tight-lipped on details, police are not revealing any more than they did a week ago. The Oswego County Animal Welfare League – SPCA is looking for donations to care for more than 70 cats that were taken from the Maxwell home.
UPDATED: The gas station at 181 E. First St. was reportedly robbed shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday. Two suspects are awaiting arraignment.
